Call generation

If the program works as a client the speed of call generation (calls per second), the maximum number of concurrent calls and the total number of calls can be set. A value of 10 for Calls/sec means create 10 calls every second; 0.1 means one call every 10 seconds. Max Concurrent = 0 means unlimited concurrent calls; Total Calls = 0 means unlimited. The logic:

  1. new calls are generated at the Calls/sec speed, until
  2. the maximum number of concurrent calls is reached: the program then waits for the number of calls to drop;
  3. call generation continues until the total number of calls is reached.

The command line options are -cps, -mc and -tc. The special command setCC(n) and the keyword [CCnt] (the number of calls running now) change the load while a scenario runs: see Load_gradual_increase_client.txt.
